Jade smiled. "yeah. So that means you'll come back?"

"I can't really leavve if I already knoww you're here." he answered

Jade tilted her head questioningly. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I mean, as long as wwe knoww of each other's existance, then can wwe be truly alone?" Eridan answered

Jade smiled. "I guess you're right"

Eridan answered Jane solemnly, "I guess so."

"Its nice then. Not being alone I mean." Jade smiled.

"So, do you wwanna find somefin to eat?" Eridan asked

"I have plenty of fruit in my garden" Jade offered.

"And I might be able to catch a fish." Eridan said, swinging his legs onto the ground and putting his socks and shoes on.

"I could shoot a boar" Jade offered.

[celestialSprite]

"Are you hungry enough to shoot a wwild boar?" Eridan asked, chuckling soflty

"Whatever we don't eat, I can smoke or salt the rest to save as rations" Jade replied.

"You'vve got a good point, and your lusus is going to wwant a portion to."he said

"Bec likes all his food lightly irradiated." Jade smiled "So he wouldn't eat until later anyway"

[celestialSprite]

"Okay then, may wwe go then?" he asked politely

[solarOrigins]

"Of course!" Jade replied, getting up and putting her shoes back on.

"I'll let you lead." Eridan answered, walking towards the place they came from.

Jade smiled. "We'll actually be going that way" she pointed, away from where they came from.

"Oh-hh Right then, you lead." Eridan answered, a slight purple blush dancing across his cheeks as he went to follow Jade.

Jade giggled, grabbing Eridan's hand and leading him along.

Eridan followed her awkwardly, almost tripping on several occasion. He watched her lightly jog along the path with a grace that he saw Nepeta demonstrate on several occasions while growing up. He almost tripped again, consequence of his lost in focus.

Jade slowed down. "Sorry, am I going too fast?" she asked

[celestialSprite]

"A little," he answered shakily. Eridan was in good shape, due to him having to swim in order to travel most of his life. But on land, his boyish demeanor and strong lanky limbs weren't as graceful as they were underwater.
