"The offer for me walking you to your dorm still stands. Seeing as how you can barely do so yourself." He said with a chuckle as he walked off the bus.

"I'm not a wriggler." Karkat stated, taking a step and nearly falling on his face anyway. He blinked wearily at his surroundings. "What way are the troll dorms again?"

Dave rolled his eyes and walked forward, placing a hand on his shoulder and gently moving for him to walk. "Never said you were a wriggler. I'm walking you there anyway."

Karkat grumbled softly but moved where directed. He was just at that point where he was too tired to argue.

He walked with him through the campus, catching him from falling or wobbling off to the side. By the time they were near the troll dorms, Dave was keeping Karkat steady by means of an arm around his shoulders. He gave Karkat a light shake to clear his thoughts. "Which floor of which building?"

"Ngh" Karkat grumbled. "Third floor, first building, room four?" he stated questioningly.

He nodded and walked over towards the first building. He walked inside of the lobby moving towards the elevator with him. "Almost there, then you can knock out."

Karkat leaned heavily against Dave with a mumble. When they stopped in front of the elevator, he closed his eyes with a little sigh.

When the doors opened, he gently guided the troll into the elevator, pressing the button that read 3. He then leaned them both back against the wall, the human listening to the gentle hum of the moving machinery as they moved up.

Karkat started to purr softly when they stopped moving and were just leaning against the wall. He nuzzled Dave's shoulder to make himself a little more comfortable. He wasn't asleep yet, but he was almost there. He had barely slept the night before, after all.

There was that purring again. He could feel the action through his shirt on his shoulder, as his throat reverberated. He smiled and gently rubbed his shoulder with his thumb. When the elevator slowed to a stop, Dave gently stood straight, taking Karkat with him out into the hallway. "Room four..." he quietly repeated, walking down the hall until he found the correct room. "We're here."

Karkat blinked at the door. "Ngh?" he mumbled questioningly. He fumbled with his keys, pulling them out of his pocket and handed them to Dave, pulling himself upright, off Dave's shoulder and swaying on his own again.

He took the keys, looking through them to find the one that looked like his own. He unlocked the door for him before opening it, holding it open for him.

Karkat smiled and stumbled in, nearly tripping over his messenger bag that had been sitting by the door.

Dave stood at the door, watching him stumble in. He wanted to make sure he got to the couch safely. "Anything else?" He asked.

Karkat shook his head as he got to the little couch, flopping down on it and nearly missing it in favor of the floor. The room wasn't really warm, and there weren't any blankets around, so Karkat shivered. Truthfully, Karkat didn't have any blankets because he had the recooperacoon and didn't think he needed any.

Dave noticed him shivering, wanting to just plot right beside him and play blanket,, but that was most definitely out of the question. He walked inside and placed Karkat's keys on his desk before turning to leave. "I'll see you tomorrow, alright?"

Karkat let out a sleepy noise, curling into a ball and lazily waving a hand at Dave.

He smiled before walking out of his dorm, making sure the door was locked before he made his way down the stairs and out of the building towards the human dorms.

Karkat slept a little better than the night before, but managed to be on time, even early to class the next morning. He was actually the first into class, and was slumped over his desk half asleep when the rest of the students started coming in.

One of the first kids after Karkat to come in was Dave, who automatically looked over at the seemingly half dead troll. He took a spot beside him, setting his stuff down. "I'm guessing you didnt get much sleep."

Karkat made a little noise of agreement, turning his head on the desk so he could look at Dave with tired eyes. He looked like Dave had woken him up.

Dave looked at him, resting his head down on the desk as well. "I'll get you that coffee at lunch. That should help you wake up."

Karkat let out a little smile and nodded. He would really like that. Coffee sounded so nice, but he was so tired he just forgot to stop and get some.

Dave gave hi a smile of his own, just for a moment, before it vanished under his pokerface. He lifted his head and watched as the other kids began to fill in the empty seats.
