"Hopefully, never." He said with a snort. "Bro isn't the kind of person you want to bring people home to. He'll tease and mess with you every chance he can get. And I really don't want to expose Karkat to that." He said before taking a bite of his burger.

"You don't get to meet my lusus unless I get to meet yours afterwards." Karkat replied, picking up his sandwich and taking a sloppy bite. "Can't be more embarassing than crabdad." he mumbled around his mouthful.

Dave looked at him with an unamused expression. "Trust me, I'm doing you a favor of trying to keep this meeting from ever happening." He said, a very light shudder passing through his body as memories from his childhood flashed through his mind. Which basically consisted of puppet rump, Strifing, apple juice, and Lil Cal.

"Because I'm friends with you." Karkat replied with a glare. He took another big bite of his sandwich, chewing it as he mentally dared Sollux to say something else.

He slipped an arm around the troll after taking his last bite of burger. He chewed and swallowed before resting his head on top of Karkat's. "Sounde fine to me."

Dave stood up as well, picking up their tray before giving them a farewell salute with two fingers. He walked with him towards the door, dumping their tray on the way out.
