Karkat shrugged. "Then whenever's best for you I guess. The earlier in the day the better, because my Lusus is still nocturnal, so you won't have to deal with him as much." He raised a brow when Dave motioned for two slices. "You don't look like you could put away two slices. You may not realize it, but you're really fucking skinny, Strider."

"Oh trust me, I could." He said with a snort. "But actually, one of them is yours." He took the tray when it was handed to him, motioning with his head to follow him back to their table.

Karkat blinked at him in shock for a minute. "What-no! You do not get to buy me lunch" Karkat scowled "At least let me give you the fucking two bucks for it"

"Don't worry about it." He said as he placed the tray down. "This was my idea anyway. Just get me back another time if you insist. Though I probably wont accept it." He said with a snicker.

Karkat's face flushed. "I never said it was or you did, I was just making a point that it wasn't since you insisted on paying for me." he grumbled in embarrassment on Dave's casual brush off of his previous statement. He sat down quietly and used a napkin to pick up his slice.

Karkat's face flushed a little more and he quickly occupied himself with eating his slice of pizza, which was nearly the size of his face.

Dave watched him from behind his shades, noting the blush. He found it rather adorable, probably more so because it was on Karkat.He took a bite of his own slice to make it seem less apparent that he was staring.

"I guess, unless you have a later class, most of the vendors close at six, then the troll vendors open around nine, and I doubt you want troll food. If you're in class till after six, we can always go off campus" Karkat mumbled.

"Nah, my last class ends at five. No need to go off campus. It would probably be more expensive that way." He pointed out. He was quiet for a moment before speaking again. "What's the difference between human and troll food?" He inquired.

"Trolls can stomach anything." Karkat replied simply "But that doesn't mean much. Take my Moirail Gamzee for instance. He eats Sopor slime, which is not ment for consumption."

Dave remembered back to a time during the game when him and Gamzee were chatting. Not only was it the lack of slime, but it was also Dave's mentioning of the horrible and atrocious group called ICP as far as relation to the troll, that had sent Gamzee into that rage that ended with some of the others dead. Yeah, he knew about Gamzee and his slime, but he simply nodded in response.
