"Nah I'm done for now. I got a rough draft written up, that's good for the time being." He said saving the document on his desktop before shutting it down, carefully slipping it back into the trolls bag.

Karkat gave a small nod of approval before closing his eyes. It looked like he was about to drift off when the teacher loudly dismissed the class. With a groan, Karkat opened his eyes and got up. "I guess I'll see you in the commons." he grumbled

Karkat dared a little smile as he stepped into the elevator. Maybe he was looking forward to lunch a little. But only a little.

Dave maintained his pokerface, though he was smiling on the inside. Despite the small turn of events, he still couldn't wait for John to come visit. Maybe things would be easier when Karkat remembered him, and everything else.

Karkat's next class wasn't too bad, nothing he had to take notes on, and he even made it to the commons early enough to grab a coffee as he waited for Dave to make his appearance, claiming a nice table in the corner.

The human didn't show up until 10 minutes after Karkat had arrived, the young Strider walking in and looking around before spotting Karkat, walking over. "Sorry. Teacher wouldn't let me leave on time." He said with a frown. "Kept holding me back to talk about the studio."

"So you're actually in charge of that thing? You thinking about doing different shows?" Karkat asked, sipping his coffee. "You do have to sleep, we have one of the first classes of the day."

"Maybe. It needs a lot of innovation. A lot is an understatement." He said as he sat down. "I might work out a schedule of some sort. I don't need or get much sleep as it is, so its not like I would be hindered by it."

"Well, you can get a troll to do a show with some Alternian shit the last part of the night, like when all the humans are sleeping and most of the trolls are headed that way." Karkat suggested. "And I'm sure you can rope Sollux into helping you with the tech shit; I don't know how you did it, but he seems to like you."

He made a thoughtful noise. "The only person I can think of that would be into that is Tavros." He said before addressing the second part with a snort. "We go back a ways." He said simply, resting his head in his hand propped up by his arm.

Karkat snorted. "So see if Tavros'll do it. He's only got a few evening classes, nothing actually at night." He drained his coffee cup and stood. "We getting lunch or what?"
