When everyone had gotten off the bus, Karkat stood and climbed aboard. He sat in the empty first seat, right by the door so he could see where they were headed. There was a stop right at the corner of where they wanted to go, and he didn't want to miss it.

Dave followed him in the bus, sitting in the first seat on the other side of the aisle. He leaned back against the window, propping his feet up. Aint no bitches gonna sit by him.

"Too good to sit next to me?" Karkat snickered, slouching down in his own seat as the bus started to move.

Karkat pretended to look hesitant and untrusting. "I supposed, since you did ask first this time" He finally stated with a grin.

He chuckled and got up, moving across the aisle and plopping himself next to the troll. "I feel so honored." He said teasingly. He draped his arms arcoss the back of the seat, making sure not to touch him, as much as he wanted to. He didn't need him saying something about touching him, especially considering the last time he technically touched him resulted in Karkat's hands getting fucked up.

"So do you watch many movies?" Karkat asked, dropping his smirk for an interested look. "I would take you for the type to like a good musical, but never admit it. Am I right?"

"Oh yes, every Saturday night, i jump in my hot pink pyjamas and curl up with a teddy bear watching Hairspray and Highschool Musical." He said with a snort. "Musicals, im not too big on. Movies, it depends." He looked at him. "If any musical, I'm more partial to the old ones. Like West Side Story for example."

Karkat nodded. "High School Musical is a poor excuse for a musical aimed at children to make them racist assholes. Did you see any trolls in that movie? I think not. The real good ones are the old ones like Rent, Annie get your gun, Fiddler on the roof, footloose, The king and I, or fucking Mamma Mia. Musicals are like one of the great cinematic justices that Humans created that Trolls cannot replicate."

"Would they even? Out of the trolls I know, only you like movies to this form of degree." He smiled at him. "But I guess that's why you're headed in that direction as far as schooling." He looked out the window now, watching as they passed people and cars alike.

"Well, singing isn't everything, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm sure your voice will get deeper as you get older." He pointed out.

"Trolls are actually a lot like humans that way" Karkat sighed. "At a certain age, you can start discerning Males and Females apart by their voices. Like I said, Human puberty. Only my voice didn't change too much and I still can't get my voice to go very low. What about you? Can you fucking sing?"

"I'm not partial to singing. I've been told I can, but I just don't see it." He said, pushing his shades further up the bridge of his nose. "If I do lyrics, theyre usually in rap. Mostly spoken. But to answer your question, technically, yeah."

He chuckled. "Yes, low. But mainly because I don't send my voice out there. Quiet singing, nothing outward. But I can reach some higher pitches before my voice cracks. And believe me, when it cracks, it's not pretty."

Karkat snickered. "It never is. Doesn't matter who's voice it is." He glanced back ahead. "This up here is our stop" he stated with a smile.
