Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Dave looked up ahead, sitting straight so he could stand once the bus came to a stop.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Karkat stood as well, grabbing Dave's hand and pulling Dave off the bus and down the sidewalk at a brisk pace.
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Dave felt his heart skip a beat for reasons unclear to him when Karkat took hold of his hand. He followed easily, allowing himself to be lead. He didn't return the hold as tightly though, fearing he could hurt Karkat's hand.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Karkat pulled Dave into the sandwich shop and let go of his hand. "Pick anything you want, I already know what I want. We can go right across to the theater after they're made and get a food pass."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Dave gave a nod and he made his order: roast beef on wheat bread with provolone and jalapeƱos. He had a craving for something spicy and he figued the peppers were just what he needed.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Karkat ordered something really complicated that he wanted toasted, but when it came out five minutes later it smelled heavenly. It had 4 kinds of meat, 2 cheeses pickles and mustard on it. "Let's get drinks at the theater, they've got good soda there" He stated, pulling out his wallet and passing some money to the lady behind the cash register.
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Sounds good to me." He said, picking up their wrapped sandwiches to carry. He walked outside with him, holding the door for him as they left the sandwich shop.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Karkat gave a little smile. "Thanks. Its really right across the street" he stated, pointing at the little theater across the way. "Just two showing rooms, fit maybe fifteen to twenty people each"
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"How cute." He said with a smicker. If he had the choice of either a popular theater, or a small secluded one like this, he would definitely pick this. He wasn't much for such other places, susceptible to irritating and obnoxious viewers or suddenly finding the two people next to you are two seconds away from having sex. He gave a light shake of the head to clear the memory away.

"Smaller theaters are nicer more often then not. Easier to keep clean." Karkat continued. "And they actually have a few trolls that work nights and they show troll movies so they can stay open twenty four hours."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Seems like they know what they're doing." He said as they approached the teller to buy their admittance tickets and tneir food passes.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Karkat pulled out his wallet back out and passed a ten to the teller; a young man that looked bored. "Two night passes and a food pass" he stated.
"Wrists" The teller sighed.
Karkat slipped his wrist in the slot and the boy put a wristband pass on his wrist.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Once Karkat got his wristband, Dave slipped his arm in the slot to get his own.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
The boy did the same to Dave with a sigh. "Have a wonderful time tonight. Troll movies start in theater 2 at 11. They will be playing in both at 1." he stated in monotone.
Karkat took Dave's hand and tugged him inside. "Check this place out!" he urged in excitement.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Again, the sudden and unfamilar warm feeling filled Dave when his hand was held, but he ign ored it for now in favor of gazing around the inside of the theater. It was adorable in a sense, almost like it was a baby of the bigger theaters. Yes, he would definitely pick this place anyday. "So drinks, then movie, right?"

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Fuck yes! I can't wait to see what's playing!" Karkat grinned, pulling Dave over to the concessions stand and tapping the bell.
An irritated looking troll poked its head from the back room before moving out to the counter. "Can I help you?" she (because it was clearly a she, it was shorter than Karkat even) asked with a yawn.
"A cherry soda and, what do you want Dave?" Karkat asked, turning to look at him.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
He couldn't help but smile at Karkat's enthusiasm. It was pretty catchy. When he was asked what drink he wanted he replied, "Same."

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
The troll set two glass bottles on the counter and Karkat handed her three singles. "Enjoy your movie."
Karkat smiled as he picked up the bottles and turned back to Dave. "They're showing the notebook and a cartoon. which would you rather see?"

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
He raised a brow in thought before finally giving a shrug. "You're the movie expert. You pick." He said with a smile.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Well, I've never been a big fan of cartoons, and the notebook is a really great romance story, and they're following up with another movie based on a book by the human Nicolas Sparks." Karkat grinned. "Is that okay with you?"
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Romantic story, huh? Dave smiled and nodded towards the theater that had the banner of The Notebook over its entrance. "The Notebook it is then."

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Karkat grinned and followed him. "Where do you want to sit? I usually sit in the middle because its the best view of the screen"
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Usually I sit in the middle. But at the other places, you get those assholes who kick your seat. So I tend to sit in the very back. But since this place is different, the middle sounds fine." He said as they walked towards the theater.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
Karkat grinned wider and sped up so he could push the door open for Dave. "Great! Anything else?" he asked, sounding happy.
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Nah." He said with his own smile. Before he walked in, he took a moment to take in Karkat's happy disposition. "...You look good when you smile too." He said before he walked into the darkened viewing room, giving him a nod of thanks for holding the door..
