Jeff kept his gaze on the tv. If Dirk wanted his attention he could speak up. There was no point trying to do anything with the older twin if he was just going to get an attitude when invited to do anything. Jeff wasn't going to let Dirk spoil his day off and good mood.

Dirk fidgeted nervously and shuffled farther into the room. When Jeff didn't say anything to him, he shuffled over to the couch and sat on the floor at the end where Jeff's feet were.

He pulled his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around them and resting his chin on them as he shifted his focus to the tv.

Jeff curled his legs closer to his body. "You can sit up here with me. I won't bite."

Dirk hesitated a good while before getting up on the couch, returning to his curled in position.

Jeff sighed, looking at Dirk. "I want to do what you want to do. You get to pick things today."

Dirk hugged his knees tighter. "I know" he mumbled

Jeff sat up. "We can order some tai or chinese. Get as much as you want."

"Okay" Dirk shrugged. He shifted closer to the arm of the couch.

"Pick a movie for us. I'm gonna order the food." Jeff got up then went into the kitchen. The take out menus were in the cabinet under the cereal boxes.

Jeff was back out a few minutes later. "The food will be here in about forty five minutes." He sat back down on the couch. "What are we gonna watch?"

Dirk slowly got up and moved to set the movie up.

Jeff sighed, turning his attention to the tv. He was close to just not bothering anymore. This always happened when he asked Dirk to do anything with him. The older twin usually said no and got an attitude with him. Either that or give in but sulk the whole time. But then he turned around to bitch and moan about how Jeff never gave him any attention. The oldest Strider was done with his shit.
