Jeff shrugged, propping his feet up on the coffee table. It was rare for Dirk to apologize. He usually only did because he wanted something. Scratch that. He would apologize to Dave. The younger Strider twin was the only person who would ever get an apology from Dirk.

Jeff got up to answer the door when there was a knock. He was grinning when he walked back through the living room, take out in hand. Well technically in his arms since he bought so much of it. "Food will be on the table."

Dirk didn't respond. He had drifted into a state of half sleep between the time he stopped talking and when the take out arrived.

Jeff returned to the living room with a large plate of food and a can of Crush. He switched the tv back over to cable when he noticed Dirk was sleeping. He grinned and propped his feet back up. Just in time for Bridezilla too. Tonight was getting better at least.

Cal came home three fourths of the way through say yes to the dress, yawning and rubbing his sore shoulders. "didn't expect to see you up" he stated with a smile, walking around to the front of the couch. "Or sitting with Dirk. Normally he's shut in his room or with Dave."

Jeff was on his fourth plate of food and third can of Crush. He swallowed what was in his mouth before answering Cal. "Dave is at lover boy's house tonight gettin nailed til sunrise."

Jeff shrugged. "No idea. I hadn't even known he left until I asked Dirk if he wanted to hang out with me today."

"I never said I wanted you to do anything, I was just making an observation. He's also putting on some weight, Dirk seems to be loosing it"

Jeff chuckled, offering Cal another bit. "Maybe Dave is sucking all the fat out of his ass." He had noticed his youngest brother gaining weight. But Dave was as sensitive as their mother. Especially about body issues. He would most likely start crying if Jeff mentioned it at all. It would just give Dirk another reason to get an attitude with him too.
