With a sigh, Bro carefully laid down on the other side of them, just close enough behind Cal so that he couldn't roll over. "Hey Cal, you okay?" he asked softly.

"For The ReCord, I HaTE both of you" Cal slurred with a little whimper.

Dave sighed and placed a hand on Cal's arm, closing his eyes. "We figured that..." It was to be expected after all. But with the way things were going, him and Bro were going to have to work together to help Cal out in his recovery. Maybe if he saw them actually interacting in a nonviolent manner, he would forgive him. Maybe.

Cal grunted a little and shifted so he could push Bro back so he could lay on his back. "Roll over" he mumbled to Dave, giving a sharp tug on Dave's shirt.

Bro simply shifted around so he could lay his head against Cal's shoulder and laid his hand atop Cal's stomach. "That's just the medication talking. Remember when you broke your arm when Dave was three? You hated the neighbor, who's cat you tripped over going up the stairs. Nothin' against the cat, just the neighbor"

"fuCK you" Cal mumbled in retaliation.

Dave gave a snort at the story. He had heard about it before, considering he was too young to properly remember the incident. He complied with the command turning over so he was now facing the older males.

Cal was asleep almost as soon as he closed his eyes. For Bro, it was a little longer, but he remained stubbornly by Cal's side.

Within a half hour, Dave drifted off to sleep, easily lulled by Cal's warmth and the soft steady breathing. The whole ordeal wore him out, even as far as for him to remove his shades before going to sleep.

As per usual, Cal was the first to rise in the morning. Still Groggy from the pain medication, he slipped from the bed carefully, trying not to wake the other two up. He accidentally jostled Bro, but he didn't wake. He only scoot closer to Dave, slipping an arm around the youngest Strider and tucking him against his chest with a sleepy mumble.

Cal watched the two of them from the kitchen as he brewed some tea.

Dave stirred for a moment before settling against Bro's chest, giving it a soft nuzzle before going still with a breathy sigh.

Cal rolled his eyes, and winced because the action hurt, before returning to his tea. It would figure that they would start getting along when he was in pain. Now he couldn't take advantage of- Oh hello. Where the hell were those crazy, wonderful, sexy thoughts coming from.

He finished preparing his tea and moved to stand by the futon, just watching the two of them.

Bro shifted again, wrapping his arms around Dave almost protectively. He tilted his head down and lightly kissed at Dave's forehead, still totally asleep. Bro was one hell of a sleep cuddler.

The feeling of being surrounded by warmth was a new sensation for Dave. With Cal, he was the one doing the cuddling, but now it seemed he was playing teddy bear to someone else. And he didn't seem to mind, what with the little soft pleased noises slipping past his slightly parted lips.

Cal thought about how creepy it was gonna seem if they woke up to him standing over them, then he sipped his tea and stopped caring when he remembered it was their fault his nose was broken in two places. The little bastards.

Bro let out a soft, protective noise in response to the little noises Dave was making. He nudged Dave's head a little, tilting it up slightly so he could shift and press a little chaste kiss to his lips.

The kiss definitely had Dave quieted...for a moment. He let out another sound, muffled by the lips against his own, before lightly pressing into the kiss.

Bro let out a sound that could be considered a purr and pressed his lips more firmly to Dave's. He tossed a leg over top Dave's as well, keeping him close.

The sound that left Dave this time was easily identified as a moan. He pressed closer, his hands loosely fisting at the fabric of Bro's shirt.

Bro pulled his lips back just far enough to press a few light kisses to Dave's face before nuzzling his hair. He let out a soft sigh and stayed there.

Cal considered waking one of them up. But, they looked so comfortable, he just didn't have the heart to do it.

The younger Strider mumbled something incoherent before settling up against Bro, comfy as can be, while enjoying the warmth that surrounded most of his body.

Cal smiled at the heartwarming sight and moved around the futon to set his tea on the coffee table. He crawled back up next to them once his tea was safe and pressed his back to Dave's. Bro lifted his arm from the contact and wrapped it loosely around Cal as well. Once Cal was comfortable, he used the remote to turn on the tv.

When he felt the weight shift on the futon, Dave's free leg that wasnt being held by Bro's moved back, tangling itself with one of Cal's legs. Outside of that, Dave didn't stir from his sleep.

Cal smiled and began flipping through channels, looking for something to watch. He flipped to one channel just as something in a movie exploded, and the loud noise made him jump, and it woke Bro.

Bro raised his head, squinting at Cal from lack of his shades. "God dammit Cal, turn the fucking volume down if you're gonna do that shit" he grumbled before pressing his face back to Dave's hair.

The noise had Dave flinching, jolting him out of his sleep. "Jesusfuckwhat...?" He mumbled, about to look around until he felt the closure of Bro's head return. He made an indifferent noise before resting his head down.
