There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Bro and Cal had been inseparable for longer than either of them really cared to remember. Before Dave came along, they had all they ever wanted in the other. Now that Dave was a part of their lives, however, some problems arose.
Bro of course treated him like a little brother from Day One, raising him on irony and strife. Cal had much different ideas and cuddled and coddled Baby Dave, raising him on hair ruffles, kisses and hugs.
As Dave grew older, Cal continued giving him the attention he needed as Bro gave him less and less of it. Soon, Bro started getting jealous of the unwavering attention Dave was getting, even as he was getting older.
Cal, on the other hand, was very protective of his 'boys'. The three of them were Striders and they belonged together in his eyes.
----------------------------------
Cal sat on the couch, alone, for once, in the apartment as he waited for Dave to get home from school and for Bro to get home from work. Today was one of his rare 'off' days and he was spending it playing the only good video game they had in the house: Bioshock. So, as per freaky games rule, he was curled up in one corner on the futon couch, practically cocooned in a blanket with all the lights out and the shades drawn to make it dark in the apartment.
He perked instantly as he heard keys jingle outside the front door.

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
The door opened, revealing the youngest Strider to be the source of the noise. He kicked the door shut before letting his bag slip off of his shoulder, a groan escaping his mouth. "What a fucking day..." he groused, shoving his hands in his pockets as he made his way up the stairs.
He raised a brow when he heard the television on, looking over into the living room when he reached the top. Oh right, Cal had the day off. He never knew how the guy could deal with a bunch of screaming coughing brats. But then again, the middle Strider was a more open guy than he was; more tolerant of people.
"I'm home, dude." he said before walking into the kitchen. Avoiding the swords and knives placed in the fridge (for what reason, he never understood or questioned), he grabbed a bottle of water before walking to the living room, flopping down on the futon beside the other, emitting a groan before taking a long chug from the bottle.

"Hi Dave!" Cal chirped, abandoning his (now) paused game in favor of wriggling his cocoon over to Dave's side of the couch to cuddle him affectionately. He would have ditched the blanket if he could, but his legs were hopelessly caught in them. "How was your day~"
He gazed up at Dave with his big blue eyes, like all he could ever want was to hear about Dave's day, which truthfully was all he wanted right now. He had been so bored by himself today that he was already on his second play through of his game, in superhuman mode.

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
He looked over at the other, swallowing the water that inhabited his mouth. Ah Cal, always the cuddle monster. He never minded though, considering it's been that way since...forever. He automatically leaned into the other, on account of it becoming a habit after all of these years, and the fact that he had a shitty day.
"It was fine until the 4th block class..." Dave reached into his pocket, pulling out a crumpled up wad of yellow paper, giving it to the other male. "Need a signature on that."
When Cal would open the paper, he would see that it was a referral. Nothing different from the routine they faced throughout Dave's years in high school. Whether it was actually him, or the fact that the staff always thought it was him, it didn't matter. The adults at his school only cared about their crappy paycheck at the end of every week.
The "crime" he committed today was an act of vandalism. Someone spray-painted the emblem of Dave's shirt onto a wall in the hallway, and since he always wore that shirt, he was automatically suspected, selected, and slurred. The paper noted that if he continued this behavior, he would have to be suspended for a week. Like it was a punishment.

Cal tossed the paper onto the coffee table in favor of wriggling around and pressing his face into Dave's chest. "Don't be gruuuuuuumpy! Just tell your buddy Cal all about it! Just because you got taller than me doesn't mean I can't still cheer you up!" he grinned, rubbing his nose against Dave's shirt in an attempt to tickle him while his hands were trapped at the elbow.

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
The actions caused Dave to let out a stifled laugh, coming out as a snort. This was one big difference between Bro and Cal: while Bro strived on the policy of a constant poker face, Cal knew exactly how to wriggle in between the cracks of that policy. He knew every weak spot, every action to cause one of the brothers to become vulnerable.
Giving up trying to play the cool guy act in front of Cal, a small smile made itself present on Dave's face. "Fine, fine." he said, finally giving in. "I'm not so mad at the fact that I got yet another referral. It just pisses me off that someone framed me like that." He gave a sigh, slipping an arm around the other as he kicked off his shoes.
"Other than that fun event, everything was pretty chill today...What about you?" he asked. "What did you do besides play video games in the dark?"

Cal's giggling died away at Dave's question. He tilted his face out of Dave's chest as he thought. He looked up and opened his mouth to speak, before closing it and looking back down. What did he do today besides play video games. Did he even do anything?
Finally his face brightened and he looked back up at Dave. "I woke up Bro and made him lunch to take with him! Does that count?"

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"Nope. Because you do that every day, for both me and him." And boy was he grateful for that. Not only were Cal's lunches completely kick ass, they were on a whole new level compared to the slop they served at school. That glop seriously looked like it could kill someone, or possibly crawl off of the lunch trays they were presented on.
"Is...that all you do around here when you're by yourself?" he asked quietly, raising a brow in genuine curiosity.

"...Sometimes I clean" Cal replied innocently "Or nap." He pouted and looked back down, curling up against Dave. "There's just nothing to do when you guys aren't here. Its not like I have any hobbies. I'm always too busy cause of school and my internship at the hospital."
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
That was true. Sure, he messed around with him and Bro on the roof as far as strife went, but that was only when Cal was in the mood. Other than that, there...Was really nothing here for the little guy to do. He gave his arm a rub, feeling bad for him.
"Hey, do you know if Bro is coming home early? Or are we chowing down with just the two of us?" Dave didn't mind either way really; he enjoyed Cal's individual company, but he didn't see his brother as much as he used to lately. Even if seeing him meant another strife, he didn't care. That was their common greeting it seemed.

"He didn't say" Cal replied, looking back up at Dave. "So I was just gonna make some hamburger helper and maybe save some for him. Does that sound good? Maybe we could play around and strife later?"
Cal loved being around his boys, it didn't matter what they were doing because he knew that they loved him; that was all that he ever wanted.

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"Sounds like the perfect way to end a once shitty Friday." He said, flashing him a smile. He gave the middle Strider's head a small nuzzle before he stood, stretching. His back cracked with the action, getting a groan from the boy. "Fuck, I needed that." He mumbled before looking back at Cal.
"I'm gonna hit the shower, then we can find something to do. Sound cool to you?" He asked before he finished off the water in the bottle. He moved around the futon, standing in the kitchen doorway and chucking the plastic bottle in the trashcan.

"Okay!" Cal chirped happily, letting himself fall back onto the cushion once his support got up. "But, before you go..." He gave an apologetic smile and wriggled his trapped limbs. "Do you think you can untangle me? I've had to visit the little men's room for like an hour and can't seem to get out, as pathetic as that sounds"
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Dave glanced over at the other male for a second before chuckling. "Nothing new to me, Cal. You do this at least once a week." he said, returning to the living room. Cal was such a goofball, and that's why he fit in so well. He was like the balancer of the Striders. Maybe that was why everyone loved him at the hospital.
He looked at the piece of work before him, raising a brow. "Damn, you worked yourself into it this time." He sat down, pulling and tugging at different parts of the sheet, trying to loosen anything up. Giving one final tug, the blankets came loose, opening the others cocoon. "There." he said, ruffling the others blonde hair before standing.

"Freedom!" Cal hissed joyously, rolling off the couch to land in a crouch and flash-stepping to the bathroom. He may not have been as big or strong as the other two, but when it came to speed, he could easily give the other two a run for their money.
Sighing in relief as he came back out a few minutes later, he gave Dave a grin. "Thanks! I'll just play my game some more till you get out of the shower."

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Dave would never forget the day that Bro realized Cal had a quicker flash-step than the both of them did. It was one of those rare occasions where his legendary poker-face was cracked and broken, but only briefly. Despite the short amount of time, it was still a moment that wasn't to be missed.
He nodded at what the other said before heading towards his room. "Sounds good." he said before walking inside. He moved to the dresser, pulling out a change of clothes, then moving to the hall closet to grab a towel. He blinked, noticing all of the neatly folded and clean smelling towels. The little guy even did the laundry. He really must have had nothing to do.
Dave walked into the bathroom and placed the clothes on the closed toilet lid, hanging his towel on the rack. He started the water, then stripped himself of his current clothing. Lastly, he removed his shades, placing them carefully on the sink counter before stepping into the shower.

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Cal returned to his place on the couch and picked up his discarded controller. He had gotten almost an entire level when the front door opened soundlessly, signifying the eldest Strider's return.
Bro did a quick glance around the room. The shower was running, so it had to be Dave in there; the mop of curly hair peeking out from over the futon was much too light to be Dave's, and besides that, Bioshock was Cal's game anyway.
It was a Friday, he was home early, he didn't have a gig to DJ that night; he was gonna celebrate. Bro flash-stepped in front of Cal, effectively making him jump as he took the controller away and paused the game without looking. Then Cal was pinned down to the futon with Bro's mouth on his and the elder hovering over him.
Cal hadn't even heard him return home.

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Unaware of the actions going on outside of the bathroom, Dave wasn't even moving. He was just standing under the hot stream of water. The water felt nice against his pale skin, which was effectively causing his hair to droop into his face. Occasionally, when he had a really bad day, he would set the water just below scalding. It really helped, hell, it was his own therapeutic method.
However, with every good thing came a bad thing. Well, two bad things. With the water being so hot and his own body being so pale, his skin would easily tint pink. Honestly, it looked like a sunburn. That was one thing; the second would be the scolding he would get from Cal. He would always tell Dave how bad this habit was, that he could cause himself scarring.
Dave didn't care though. He liked the feeling, during and afterwards. Everything seemed cooler to his skin afterwards, literally giving him a chill feeling. Once he was satisfied, he grabbed the shampoo and got to work on getting clean.

Cal tried to protest to Bro's actions, but its hard to think straight when someone is as efficient as Bro at kissing. Its not like Bro would have listened to begin with. Bro had a rather mean possessive streak when it came to Cal.
When their lips parted, Cal immediately returned to his attempts at protesting, having the brain capacity to actually think, while Bro just kicked the futon, causing it to lay out and for Cal to give a little yelp at he suddenly found himself pinned down on his back.
"Bro! Stoppit! I have to wait for Dave to get out of the shower!" Cal whined, trying to tug his arms free.
Bro snorted. "Let the little fuck do what he wants. Are you really gonna say no to a chance to be with me when neither of us are exhausted to all fucking hell because of work?"
Cal made another little protest that was promptly muffled and then silenced by Bro's lips as he stopped fighting, having lost the capacity again.

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Dave lathered his hair, making sure to massage the shampoo into his scalp. He took pride in his hair, blessed with good genes in his opinion. Well, mostly good genes. One thing he disliked were his eyes. Sure, they were cool and everything, but not exactly something you see everyday. He had to constantly hide them at school, lest he be subject to ridicule and even challenged to strife.
He rinsed his hair and got to work with the conditioner. He vaguely wondered when Bro would be arriving home. He then began to wonder if showering now was such a good idea, considering Bro would challenge him to a strife once he got home. Whatever, that just meant another shower for him.

Cal was finally reduced to a whimpering moaning mess on the futon when Bro finally released his arms in favor of running one hand under Cal's shirts, pushing them up his chest as he slipped his hand along the bare skin.
"Don't you love me Cal?" Bro asked as his lips worked at a spot on Cal's neck just below his ear. "Don't you want me anymore?"
"You're a dirty little cheater" Cal maned softly. "That's what I think. This is playing dirty."

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Once he was satisfied with his hair, he grabbed the body wash. Old Spice. Some form of irony Bro instigated he figured. Or rather, maybe it was the fact that Old Spice on a Strider was like holding a penny to a super-magnet when it came to women, or men. He shrugged regardless and began washing his body, his skin beginning to tint a light pink, making his skin look almost...normal.
After making sure all of the wash and the conditioner was rinsed off, he moved to turn off the water, but hesitated. He closed his eyes, allowing the water to spray on him a little longer before he turned the faucets, ceasing the flow of water. He grabbed his towel, aggressively towel drying his hair until it was half dry. He then dried off the rest of his body, tossing the towel into the sink before he started getting dressed.

Bro smirked and bit down on Cal's neck a little harder than necessary, snapping Cal out of his half stupor. "Bro stop! Dave and I need to go shopping for dinner so I can cook tonight!"
"I'll order something" Bro replied, moving his ministrations to the shell of Cal's ear.
"You always order out! Its not good for you!" Cal protested, trying to shove Bro away, which only resulted in the pinning of his arms again.
"You're good for me." Bro stated, moving to suck on Cal's adam's apple. "You gonna withhold yourself from me?"
"Brodrick Strider that is not the same thing and you know it!"

Dave was just tugging his shirt on when he heard something outside of the bathroom. Muffled voices: one of them seemed to be shouting. He slipped his shades on and gathered up the towel along with his clothing. He knew what was going on, and he wasn't going to let it. Not this time. At least not while HE was here. He had walked in on them once too many times. I mean, goddamn, at least have the decency to work their kinks when he wasn't home. He called dibs on hanging with Cal first, and he planned on seeing it through.
He opened the bathroom door, tossing the clothes and the towel in the nearby hamper. Then the young Strider used his flash-step to appear in the living room, behind the older brother. He grabbed his shoulder tightly, leaning down close to his ear. "You heard the guy. Back off, Bro."

Bro let out a small growl. "Fuck off Dave. Leave the adults alone." he snapped.
"C'mon Bro, you can have me all to yourself later. I already promised Dave that I'd make dinner and hang out with him a little." Cal pouted up at Bro.
Bro shrugged Dave's hand off. "Don't wanna." he replied childishly in monotone. "Want you now, not later."
Cal groaned in frustration. "Broooooooo! Its been forever since Dave and I got to spend time together! At least you see me at night!"
"For what, five minutes before you pass out from exhaustion?" Bro grumbled.
