Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"Okay, let's recap: one, I provoked you. Second, it was an accident. It was your elbow, not your fist. I'm at fault here too. He told us to stop and we didn't. Ne he sighed and ran his other hand through his own hair before sighing. "Just...knock it off with the self loathing, alright? We'll get through this."

"Fuck you, I'll loathe whoever I want" Bro replied, but his tone was lighter and his shoulders weren't shaking anymore.

Dave gave a snort, giving his shoulder a harmless smack before retracting his arm and settling back into his seat with a sigh. "That's more like it, asshole."

"I hope they don't give him something too strong. He hates having to take pain pills." Bro sighed.

"We'll find out once everything is patched up..." He said before stretching with a small groan.

Bro nodded and sat up in his seat just as a nurse appeared with a clipboard.
"You came in with Cal? I need you to fill out some forms." she stated, looking at Dave.
Bro cleared his throat. "Actually, I need to fill those out, he's underage."
The nurse let out a small 'oh' before handing him the clipboard and pen and scurrying away.

Dave watched her leave before glancing at the paperwork Bro was holding. "I wonder how long of a wait it's going to be..." He said quietly.

"Not too much longer if they're giving me shit to fill out" Bro replied.
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"Hopefully." He said. He looked around the room, seeing only a few people. All of which were waiting on their own friends or family that something happened to.

Bro filled out the paperwork in silence and not long after he finished, the nurse led Cal over to them. Cal's nose was in a little brace, holding it in place so it would heal straight, and someone had cleaned his face of any blood. His gaze was absent, so it was obvious he had taken some pain meds.
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Dave stared at Cal, feeling his stomach twist at the sight of his vacant stare. He looked over at Bro before he helped lead Cal towards the exit.

Bro finished up with the nurses before joining them. "I parked over here" he stated, leading them across the parking lot.
Cal leaned heavily on Dave, stumbling almost like a drunk, but with more desperation. With every stumble and bump, he let out a small whimper.

Dave had an arm wrapped around his waist the other arm keeping him steady. He followed after Bro in silence, taking note of the sounds of discomfort from the middle Strider.

"He doesn't have a concussion, so we can let him sleep it off." Bro stated, opening the car door for them. "I promise to leave him alone on the futon; your bed isn't really big enough for two people"
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"Alright..." He said, helping Cal in first before sliding in himself, having the other lean on him. He knew Bro wouldn't dare try anything, even after Cal would recover, judging by how he reacted in the waiting room.

Bro sighed softly. "What do you want for dinner? I'd cook something at the house, but we all know I'm a shitty cook"
Cal whimpered and clung to Dave, his eyes flickering open and shut, like he was fighting sleep.

"You pick, I don't really have a preference at the moment..." He said, shifting his gaze to look up at Bro in the rear view mirror.

"I'm not hungry" Bro replied simply. "But the two of you need to eat, mostly you, because knowing Cal, he won't be able to keep anything down until that medication wears off."
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"I guess Taco Bell then, since there's one on the way home." He said with a sigh, keeping an arm securely around Cal.

"Alright" Bro replied, starting the car and moving out of the lot.
The ride home was quiet, save for the occasional whimper from Cal and when Bro ordered at the Drive through. When they got home, Bro parked in Cal's place and opened the door for them to get out. "You're gonna need to carry him up the stairs."

"No problem." He slid out before carefully helping Cal to the edge of the seat. He then had Cal lean on his back before grabbing his legs and hooking them in the crooks of his arms. He stood now, Cal riding piggy back on his back.

Cal clung to Dave, burring his face in the crook of his neck.
Bro held all the doors open for them, unlocking their door for them as well.

He stepped inside, walking over to the futon and sitting on it, allowing the other to let go of him and lay on the futon if he wished.

Cal simply clutched Dave tighter, then made a grabby motion with one hand at Bro when he moved over to lay the futon down.
Bro raised a brow and looked to Dave. "I think he wants us to lay with him" he stated, more like he was asking permission.

Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
He looked at Bro then back at Cal. He lay down on the futon, making the positioning of Cal spooning him. "Come on." He said softly, looking at Bro. The only reason he was going through with this was because it was obvious that Cal needed and wanted comfort. Plus the fact that Cal would be between them and they wouldn't have that much, if at all, contact.
