Dave snorted and crossed his arms. "What do you think? The best place a date has ever taken me was Red Lobster. And do you think Jeff would spend this kind of money on me or DIrk? Big D flies us out to Hollywood when he wants to go to a steakhouse."

"Red lobster is hardly any good" Jake frowned. "They must not have been a good date"

Dave shrugged. "The food was alright. The dude was acting like he was a rich, big shot because he took me to Red Lobster." He snorted again. "Better than the dude that took me to McDonalds."

Jake rolled his eyes. "Eh gad, do young men really not know how to treat their dates anymore?"

"He just wanted to sleep with me. And he was too cheap to even take me somewhere nice." Dave sighed, tapping his fingers on his elbow. "That's all anyone has ever wanted from me."

"That's awful! You deserve nothing but the utmost respect!" Jake stated passionately. "You are a wonderful young man and you shouldn't have that expected of you from anyone, least of all some Over privileged teenager!"

Either Jake was the sweetest boy alive or extremely committed to the act. Dave was thankful for it either way. "I'm glad someone agrees with me."

Jake got out and moved to the other side, opening the door and gently lifting Dave down.

Dave's stomach was gurgling as soon as they stepped inside. His cheeks were tinting pink as he ducked his head. The only thing he had eaten all day was pizza rolls and the air of the restaurant smelled incredible.

Jake was all smiles as the maitre d showed them to a table. He let go of Dave's arm to pull out his seat for him politely.
