Jake grinned and led Dave to his car. "Do you need help in?" he asked, gesturing at the tall vehicle.

Dave rolled his eyes behind his shades. Of course he didn't need help. He was plenty capable of getting into the jeep. But he felt like pushing his luck tonight. See how far Jake would go for him. "Yeah."

Jake opened the door and carefully lifted Dave up into the car.

Dave was humming quietly as he waited. He wasn't sure of what to do now. Yeah he had hung out with Jake before, but there was usually someone else with them. Like Dirk, or Jade, or John. Maybe this wasn't such a great idea. He couldn't back out now though.

Jake climbed in easily enough and started the car. He pulled out of the parking lot , giving Dave little glances and blushing when he got caught. "You look very handsome" he finally stated

Of course he was nervous. The last guy Dave had gone on a date with us a football player last year. He had only been a freshman and the guy was senior. He had gotten mad when Dave wouldn't spread his legs at the end of date. Thankfully he had chosen right outside their apartment to start his shit. Jeff and Dirk beat the shit out of him.

Good, he didn't know about the incident. Dave was a bit surprised Dirk hadn't told Jake, Jane, or Roxy. His twin seemed to tell them everything. "Cool as a cucumber."

Dave laughed, feet still swinging. Jake was one of the few people to be intimidated by him. Everyone seemed to be able to see right through him. "You're cute Jake."
