Jeff paused for a moment. This probably wasn't a good idea. Actually it wasn't probably. It WAS a bad idea. But he didn't have much to loose at this point. "Sometime when you're feeling better how about you and I go out somewhere? Maybe to see a movie or out to dinner. Or anything you'd like to do."

Jeff had pulled Karkat onto his lap when they got on the bus. Dave had taken the car to do errands. Jeff hadn't felt like arguing that morning and just let the younger Strider take the car.

He ruffled the younger boy's hair. "Excited? "
