Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Don't worry, Karkles. Things will become clear eventually..." The smirk faded, his expression returning to its regular pokerface. "Maybe sooner than you think."

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Don't call me that of I will end you." Karkat growled in warning. "Do you know anything about quadrants?"
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Yeah." He said, listing them off on his fingers. "Matesprits, Moirails, Auspistices, and Kismesises. What about them?"

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Is that all you know about them? Their names?" Karkat asked, looking up. "Because I was thinking of making the ballad something like a dream I've been having recently."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"No, I know what they are. I just didn't know if you wanted me to go all into detail." He gave a light shrug. "A dream, huh? Mind sharing?"

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Its a little different every time, but basically its about two kids, around six sweeps, one troll and one human, and they're convinced that they're kismesis, but the more they fight, the less they feel that they're doing the best they can, then they're older and they've jumped quadrents, maybe seven or eight sweeps. And then, just before I usually wake up, they're red, like they were ment to be all along." Karkat replied, glaring at his paper.
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Interesting. So as they got older, they realized they didn't hate eachother after all?" He asked, trying to make sure he was clear on it.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Yes." Karkat replied. "But the human didn't fully understand the quadrants until the end. He didn't understand why they would go from fighting, to the troll trying to shove his tongue down his throat."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Well the concept is a little hard to grasp if you're human. But I managed somehow." He said. "Three of my friends get them too. But you don't remember them either. Not yet anyhow."

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"One, stop talking like that. Two, do you see where I'm going with this? Like a ballad about bi species romance? Maybe a little like another modern day romeo julliet deal?" Karkat asked
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Fine fine. And yeah, sounds simple enough. And its an interesting concept." He commented, sort of talking outwardly to himself.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Yeah, like a human all caught up in the quadrants of a troll. Spinning with not a clue about the direction he's going in" Karkat replied
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Bound to happen if you get involved that way with a troll. No offense, but you guys are just plain fucking complicated." He said, shaking his head.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"I take that as a complement seeing as how humans are sickeningly simple. Why do you think you're so easy to kill?" Karkat smirked.
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"That's your fault." He said without thinking. Giving a frown, he shook his head. "Disregard that. And pff, I highly doubt you've killed anyone. Besides, not all of us are so vulnerable." He returned the smirk with one of his own.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"No, but that's not to say that a troll hasn't killed a human before." Karkat replied. "And I'm more than certain that I could take you."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"You wanna bet?" He asked, leaning forward for emphasis. "You say you don't know me. Yet you know how fast I am. You honestly think I have no means of advanced fighting?" His smirk grew and his tone became all the more cocky. "I was tossed a sword when I was old enough to stand on my own two feet. You have no idea."

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"You're talking to a troll. Combat is in our DNA." Karkat sneered. "I don't care how experienced you are for a human, a troll can kick your ass."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Sounds like a challenge, Vantas." He let out a dry chuckle. "How about we see who's better, hm?"

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Name the time and the place" Karkat sneered with a smirk. "And I'll make you eat those words."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Around 10 tonight. Roof of the radio station." He said. The building was pretty big and he knew there would be enough space for them to have plenty of room. "I have a key."

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Done" Karkat smirked. "Make sure to bring a first aid kit so you can piece yourself back together."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"You keep telling yourself that, Karkles." He said in a mocking tone. He stood up, since their class was about to end.

Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Just keep setting yourself up for disappointment." Karkat replied, putting his stuff away. "Makes my victory that much sweeter."
Re: You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)
"Uh huh." He rolled his eyes. When the class ended, he headed for the door. He wasn't going to let him win; he refused to.
