Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
He blinked, staring at the other for a moment. "To the hospital?" he asked. He had been to the hospital a few times due to bad accidents from Strife's with Bro and Cal; more often because of the Eldest Strider. Despite the gloomy feeling it always gave him, he wouldn't mind watching Cal work. He stood up, his hands automatically slipping into his pockets. "Sure." he gave a small glance towards his bedroom door. "Bro's getting up..." he said quickly.

Cal grunted softly, climbing out of the bed. "I'll take care of it, just get ready to go" he mumbled. He stumbled slightly to the bathroom and locked the door behind him.
He was in and out of the shower in five minutes, walking to the living room for clothes where Bro was just sitting up.
"Where were you last night?" He asked, rubbing an eye and looking surly.
"I should be asking you that." Cal replied coldly.
"was clubbing." Bro replied like it was no big deal.
Cal slipped a pair of boxers on under his towel. "And what was her name? You obviously cared enough to not mind the lipstick on your shirt."
Bro examined the lipstick. "Didn't do nothing. Just a club bunny. Didn't even fuck her." he muttered. "You never answered me"
"I slept in Dave's room." Cal stated coldly, pulling on his scrubs. "He's coming with me to the hospital, we'll be back late."
Bro scowled. "What do you mean he's going with you?"

Dave nodded, walking to the closet to grab one of his shirts, slipping it on. He got some socks and put them on, slipping his shoes on; he never tied them, considering he had them laced where you didnt have to. He walked over to his computer and booted it up. He stuck a blank disk into the slot, burning his newest creation onto it. When he was done, he ejected it and slipped it into a sleeve. It was then when he heard the two talking, turning to look at his doorway to listen.

"I mean exactly what I said. He's coming with me so you don't do anything stupid" Cal stated, toweling his hair dry and moving to the mouth of the hallway to toss his towel in the hamper in the hall.
"He's almost 18, why is it my responsibility to keep him out of trouble?" Bro snapped.
"Its not, but its also not your responsibility to beat the shit out of him because I wanted to spend time with him."
"Well I wanted to spend time with you!"
Cal rounded on Bro. "No, you don't get to spend time with me anymore." he snapped, pink in the face. "Okay? Not till you clean up your fucking act! I have been faithful to you for longer than anyone else reasonably would! I stay here while you go out and fuck whoever you feel like when you're mad at me!"
Bro's gaze hardened. "you're breaking up with me?" he accused.
"Think of it however you want." Cal replied. "Dave! Hurry up! I'm running late!"

Dave had moved to the stand, picking up his shades and slipping them on, all while listening to the conversation. A slow smirk spread across his face as he heard Cal retaliate, mentally giving him a pat on the back. He heard his name from the middle Strider and headed for the living room, tucking the disk under his arm. "Let's bail." he said, monotone.

Cal walked to the door and picked his keys off the nail by the door when he was stopped by Bro's voice.
"I still love you Cal. You know I always have." Bro stated, his voice slipping back into his monotone.
"You can tell me that again once you remember what love is." Cal stated, slipping his shoes on and walking out the door. "C'mon Dave, you're driving"

Dave followed hims down the stairs, shooting Bro a look before returning his poker face. "Right." he said to Cal, follwing him out the door before promptly slamming it behind him.

"He is so pissed right now." Cal stated with a slight undertone of satisfaction. "You driven through a drivethrough before?" He went down the stairs of the apartment building quickly. "Or on the highway?"
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"I bet he is." he said with a snort. "Yes and yes." he replied as they proceeded down to where the cars were parked. He took the keys from Cal and unlocked the car, opening the drivers side and getting in. He closed the door, buckled up, and started the engine.

Cal slipped in the passenger seat and buckled in. "Then pick a place on the way to stop for breakfast, and the highway is the fastest way there. Do you need directions?"
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"Probably." He put the car in drive and backed out before pulling off into the streets. He stopped off at Burger King and got them both some breakfast. Soon he was on the highway, carefully weaving through the traffic. He handed Cal the disk he had burned this morning. "This was what I was working on last night." he stated, keeping his eyes on the road.

Cal smiled. "Is it child appropriate? I can't have you swearing in front of anyone, I never even swear when I'm at work. Keep going to exit 26." He swapped the cd for the disk in the player.
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"Surprisingly, there's no lyrics. I found it sounded better without them." He said, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Why would I make anything that could compromise your internship?" The track started to play, slow at first with a resonating bass line. As the song progressed, classical weaved its way in, only to distort to techno classical, then back again. The speed of the song was never constant for long, speeding up only to slow back down.

Cal closed his eyes with a smile to take in the music. "I like the way you've weaved everything together. It gives it a very nice flow." He opened his eyes back up and grinned. "Maybe you should do a disney mix"
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"I was having this kick to throw something together involving classical music." he explained, drumming his fingers along with the beat. He raised a brow at Cal's suggestion, never having a thought to do Disney. "Hm. I could do that." he grinned now as he pushed his shades further up. He turned off of the designated exit, awaiting further instruction.

"Hm, if you keep straight you'll see it up on the left" Cal giggled. "So stay on the left side, should be four or five lights down. And if anyone asks why I brought you, just tell them you're in trouble with the land lord, okay?"
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
Dave nodded, chuckling lightly. "Landlord was on his period, got it." He drove on until he was the hospital, which he turned into. "Where do you normally park?"

"Interns don't have assigned parking spots, so I usually just park in the visitor's lot." Cal replied. "Please be careful parking" he stressed. "The spaces are pretty narrow"
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
He pulled into the visitors lot, raising a brow. "Shit, you aren't kidding." he said as he slowed down to try and find a spot. He found one, and slowly proceeded to pull into it, leaving just enough room for them to be able to get out. He killed the engine before sliding out of the car.

"Yeah, and it doesn't help that idiots with nice cars like to double park." Cal stated as he got out, taking care to get the disk out before closing the door behind him. "They get ticketed but it still doesn't stop them."
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
He snorted, locking the car before pocketing the keys. "Lead the way." he said, motioning for him to walk. "We don't want you being later than you already are."

"Not really late anymore" Cal smiled. "No traffic ment great time. I'm actually about five minutes early." He started heading towards the front entrance anyway.
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
"Huh." he said, following behind him with his hands in his pockets. He watched the other as he walked, taking note of something. "You look good in scrubs."

Cal snorted, throwing him a little frown over his shoulder. "I look like a girl." he replied. "Scrubs just don't fit me right, even when they're the right size. Plus I have a baby face so that makes it worse."
Re: There's No Such Thing As Too Much Love (Dave/Cal/Bro)
He shook his head and smiled, walking a little faster to catch up. "You still look good. You don't look like a girl at all. In my opinion at least." He continued to look at the other's body, thankful his shades were on so Cal couldn't see. Eventually though, he returned his gaze forward as they walked inside, the automatic doors sliding open.
