He chuckled, moving the hair from Cal's forehead. He slipped an arm around him, leading him out of the bathroom and into his room.

Cal followed along sleepily, stumbling slightly on the carpet. "What're we gonna do tomorrow?" he asked

He hummed lightly in thought as they reached his bed. He made sure his body was dry, Cal's too, before he removed their towels and threw them aside for now. "Dunno. We'll figure it out tomorrow." He helped Cal into his bed before he climbed in beside him.

Cal smiled. "Okay" he yawned. "I can wait. Tomorrow'll be fun. Just the two of us. Just like old times maybe"

He smiled, pulling the sheets over them and slipping an arm around the middle Strider. "Yeah..." He said absentmindedly. He closed his eyes, wishing things really were like old times. Where there were practically no problems between any of the Striders. But it was like that old saying went: put wishes in one hand and shit in the other, see which one filled up first. Weird analogy, but it spoke nothing but truth.

Cal was asleep before the sheets were pulled all the way over him. His face was peaceful, and his breathing deep and even, just sleeping like a big baby.

Cal didn't wake until well into the afternoon. Rather than get up, or wake Dave up, he just laid where he was and stroked Dave's hair gently with a little smile.

Dave slept comfortably, his snooze lasting longer than it would have due to the stroking of his hair. Eventually though, is eyes cracked open. He blinked a couple times before he looked up at Cal, a light blush forming on his cheeks. How long had he been awake? "Hey..."

"Good morning" Cal smiled. "Are you hungry? Want me to make some lunch?" He continued stroking Dave's hair gently, liking the softness against his skin.

"Hmm...not yet." He scooted up so they were face to face, placing a small peck on the corner of his mouth. "Just woke up after all..." He said with a grin.

"Are you sure? I think we have stuff for pancakes if you want breakfast for lunch" Cal offered, letting his hand rest on Dave's shoulder.

"In a few minutes." He said, reaching up to run his fingers through Cal's hair. "I'm not rejecting the idea of food, just letting you know. If that's what you were thinking."

He gave a thoughtful noise before stretching and emitting a yawn. "No clue." He finally said returning his gaze to the middle Strider.

Cal giggled and wiggled farther down under the covers and closer to Dave so he could tuck his head under his chin. "well there are plenty of things for us to do. Both constructive, and not so much"

He wrapped his arms around his shoulders now, continuing the hair stroking before he spoke. "Mmhm...Probably going to do a combination of both." He said with a playful smirk.

ave actually considered this for a moment before shaking his head. "Nah. Not yet at least." He stretched out again before sitting up. "Really, I don't think there's anymore I would need to pick out for you. You seem to have all the bases covered with what's in your chest." He said with a light blush.

"But the stuff in my chest is stuff Bro picked out" Cal stated. "I was thinking that the two of us could have our own stuff, and I mean, there's a lot more to choose from." He stayed laying down, only looking up at Dave.

Dave thought about that. He didn't them to be using things Bro picked out, that was for sure. "Alright." He said with a smile, running his fingers through Cal's curls.
