Jade grunted under her breathe as she lifted him and shifted him to her back.

Jade shook her head as she walked to the house. "It was my fault. I should have thought about how Bec would behave in a new place."

Jade hummed as she went to the den. "I'll go get Jake." She placed Tavros on the couch. "Do you two need anything to eat or drink?"

Dave sat next to him. "Nah, I'm good."

Jade nodded at him. "Just a bit shaken. And a bit sluggish because of an anti anxiety pill."

Jade sighed and crossed her arms. "He refuses to lay down. I tried to make him."

Jade shrugged at him. "I offered and he said he didn't want to lay down."

Dave hummed as he held Gala. The pig grunted, looking around the room.

Dave shrugged slightly. "I guess. I have always liked animals."

Jade was grinning when she came back down, leading Jake. "Be nice to him."

Gala started to squeal and grunt when she saw Jake enter the room.

Jake sat on the couch, taking Gala from Dave. Jade smiled at the three. "I'm going to make some snacks. Be back in 15 minutes."

Her brother was silent as she left the den. Dave shook his head at Tavros. "No."

"Me either" Tavros admitted. "My dad is too worried that I won't be able to take care of it"

Dave nodded at him again. "My bro is considering letting my other brother get a dog. But he has to pay for it, the supplies, and take care of it."

Jake was silent as he held Gala to his chest. The pig was making happy grunts as she licked his face.
