Jeff turned back to Robert. "Anything else I can do?"

Dave laid his head on John's shoulder. "I can't believe you're here."

Jade nodded at him. "We'll just have to hang out at your house.

Josh's phone buzzed a moment later with a text from Jake. 'Don't feel well. Laying down at home. May I lay in your bed?'

"As if he'd find it" Jane preened.

Tavros nodded. "We could play pokemon?"

Josh struggled with his phone before grunting at Jake's text. 'what kind of unwell?'

Jeff shook his head. "No thanks. I'll leave that for someone else."

Jade shrugged at him. "Maybe. I still haven't started Alpha Sapphire. I'm still trying to beat Y."

Tavros perked up. "Oh I have omega ruby!"

'because i am old jacob and i have a much harder time recovering from illnesses than you do.'

"There's a confetti cannon in the upstairs bathroom, we're not allowed to have them around the grill or kitchen anymore" Jane stated. "I planned on getting John when he gets up to go to the bathroom tonight"

"I think the burgers are done" Tavros stated

Josh made an agitated noise. 'don't ask me for things if you're just going to turn around and tell me nevermind'

Jade looked towards the house. "I would think so."

Jeff rolled his eyes, even though Robert couldn't see it. "He's been acting like a teenager since he was 9."

Jade shook her head. "He got bored during the Sinnoh games. He plays a lot of Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, and Monster Hunter recently."

Dave kissed John's cheek. "This...is so awesome."
