John pulled back his covers before laying Jake down. He made sure the other boy was comfortable before laying down with him. The movie was still playing in the background.

Jade had mostly ignored Dave at the range. She had taken her anger out on every target she was given. The ride back to the house was just as silent as the morning ride. When Josh parked she was quick to get out, grab the gun bags, and head inside.
