Dave would have been inside sooner, had it not been for the fact that he had to catch his breath. He could only flash-step so fast and so long; it was tiring. After he finally managed to get some air into himself, he unlocked the door and stepped inside. Hearing Cal call, he smiled and shut the door. "It's me." He replied as he kicked off his shoes, walking over to the futon.

Cal was on him in an instant. "Lonelylonelylonely" me mumbled, pressing the side of his face into Dave's midsection since his nose prevented him from doing it head on. "Love on me!"

He gave a light chuckle, laying down on the futon. He peeled Cal from his midsection, pulling Cal to his chest instead, minding his nose. "I'm here now, don't worry."

He snickered and wrapped himself around Cal, nuzzling the top of his head while peppering kisses on his forehead and cheeks. "No problem."

Cal made a happy little noise. "Good" he mumbled.

It wasn't five minutes later that the door opened again, and this time, in stepped Bro with a pharmacy bag. "Got your meds, Cal."

Dave glanced over at the door before resting his head back down. "Can he take them now? He was complaining this morning that his face was hurting."

"When did he last take pain meds?" Bro asked, setting the keys where they belong and kicking off his shoes.

"As far as I know, before I left for school." He replied. He looked down at him. "Cal, did you take another dose at all today?"

Bro snorted. "He can't take anything while we're not here. Ironically enough, he can't open child proof bottles"

The youngest Strider gave a chuckle, nuzzling the top of his head. "It's ironically adorable." He stated. He could just visualize Cal trying to open a pill bottle, whining all the while. Indeed, it was adorable.

Cal whined again, batting at Dave in a half hearted attempt to hit him.

Bro chuckled and sat on the edge of the futon with the bag. "You still want that massage?" he asked Dave

"That would be nice." He said with a smile. "I don't think I need it though. I pretty much felt fine today. I was even home in under five minutes."

"You flash step?" Bro asked. "Cause if you did, you're gonna regret it tomorrow. Hell, you'll probably regret it later tonight"

Cal shoved at Dave again. "I want my pills!"

"If so, then I'll take that massage later." He said with a snort. He chuckled and sat up once he was shoved. "Alright alright, keep your panties on." He said, taking the bottle out of the bag and opening it. He read the label before taking out the recommended dosage: two pills. "Here." He said, letting them fall into Cal's hand.

Cal sat up just enough to pop the pills into his mouth and grab his water to wash them down. "Okay, I'm done with you now" he purred, setting the water aside and flopping down.

"Okay. I see how it is." He said with a smirk, standing up from the futon. An eye twitched behind his shades, and he nearly fell to a sit on the futon. "Okay, ow."

"What even made you think it was a good idea to flash step after how sore you were last night?" Bro asked, standing and picking Dave up. He started carrying him towards his room, to put him in his own bed.

Dave rested his head against Bro's chest and shrugged. "I wasn't sore at that point in time. I felt fine."

Bro laid down next to him with a grunt. He had to shift away from the edge, so he wouldn't fall off and it made him frown. "How the hell do both you and Cal fit in here?"

"Bear in mind, we're helluva lot smaller than you." He said with a snort. He wiggled back a little, the small movement bearable, so Bro could have more room.
