He raised his brows at that. "You're fucking kidding right?" He said in disbelief, looking at the sleeping Cal. "Shit, I never would have guessed." He always thought of Cal to be sort of a pacifist outside of their own friendly Strifes, but obviously that wasn't the case.

Bro moved back over to the futon, flipping through the book. "Ah, here's a good one." He turned the book to show Dave a picture of two kids sitting outside the principal's office, One clearly Cal by the absent smile, holding an ice pack over an eye. The other boy was smaller, his hair a messier style of how Bro wore his now, and looked like he had the shit beat out of him. He wasn't wearing shades, but it was impossible to tell what color his eyes were in the black and white photo.
