Dick grunted as he looked down at his watch to check the time. "Get me up at 6."

Robert had made plenty of desserts to go with dinner. Dinner itself was nothing particularly special, just some steaks, hot dogs, and hamburgers to be cooked on the grill paired with some of the standard cook out sides. He had sent Jane several minutes ago to fetch Josh and the Striders. He wasn't entirely certain if Slick or the rest of the crew were going to come over, but he had the extra food, just in case. He hummed as he laid dinner out, buffet style, on a table he had set up on the deck next to his grill.

Jake had fallen asleep on the coach. Jade had taken Gala upstairs to rest, taking Cat to sit with her brother.
Jade hummed as she knocked on the door to the Strider's house.

Jo stepped out of the bathroom, pulling her hair into a ponytail. "Jeff is getting dressed and Dick is in the shower. I don't know where Dave and Dirk are."

"Dirk left to get something a little while ago, he borrowed my car, and he hasn't gotten back yet. Did Dave ever come back from the neighbor's?" Cal asked. "I don't remember hearing him come in"

"Well, Robbie is your guys's friend, and I would like to avoid his wife at all costs, soooo..." Cal gestured vaguely with his hands. "Besides, I've never been all that great at new people, especially after a bad day at work"
