Jake was quick to take off his overshirt and tshirt. He folded them and set them down before laying on the backseat. "Help with my boots?"

"Karkat is being an absolute brat. He can not stay in my car."

John laughed "Liar" he teased "It was at least three times"

"I'm not riding with them" Karkat snapped, his voice thick. "I'm not riding with those idiots and if you try and make me, I'll fucking hitch hike all the way back to washington" He slouched lower in the seat, so low his knees pressed against the dashboard.

"I hope we get in an accident and I die" Karkat replied with a sharp look, his eyes close to tears still before returning his gaze out the window.
