Karkat chirped happily at Dave and made grabby motions at him again.

Dave set the other bowl down before leaning down to peck Karkat on the lips with a broad grin, not that the grin had ever really left his face since he got here.

Dave only let go so that he could sit beside Karkat, picking up his spoon and dipping it into Karkat's bowl. He lifted the spoon up to feed his matesprit, trailing a hand beneath the utensil to catch any spillage.

Karkat took the spoon into his mouth and made a face at the taste. He swallowed anyway.
