"Have you eaten yet?" Missy asked with a smile. "Because I'm about to go on my lunch break, and I can take you to the cafeteria with me if you think you're up for it"

He blinked at her, in a bit of a shock. Was she actually inviting him to lunch? "Wouldn't mind that. 'M not feelin' so achy today." He said. "You goin' now?"

Jack took a deep breath, trying to ignore the butterflies in his stomach. He shifted a little, making sure he was really up for this. He wasn't hurting something awful, so he should be fine for this.

Missy was back a moment later with the promised wheelchair. "Do you need help getting up?" She asked

Jack grunted a little as he shifted to stand, his feet going over the edge of the bed. He sat there for a moment to make sure he wasn't going to go into a pain spasm, before getting to his feet. "Nah, I got it." He said with a grunt as he made his way into the chair with a sigh.

Jack actually snorted a little. "Even he can't read my mind every minute 'a the day. But I'll let you know." He said as he relaxed back in the chair.

"Somethin' like that." Jack shrugged. He guessed he could consider him and Droog friends, given they weren't in the monster scene. Friends were weaknesses. Henchmen, however, were definitely up the right alley.
