John shifted even more uncomfortably. He set his box on the table and got up. "I'll be right back" he stated, heading to the hall.

Dirk watched him go with concern as Dave simply just sighed. Then Dirk looked at him. "I can't take it anymore. I need to know what happened." He stated.

Dave looked over at him and frowned, shaking his head. "Sorry bro, no can do. I promised him I wouldn't tell anyone. Not even you. It bugs him that much."

John stuck his head back out into the room. "You can tell him Dave, I don't mind" he stated before heading back towards the room.

They both looked towards the hallway before looking at eachother. Dave sighed.

"Alright, basically John was dating that Vriska chick, right? Well, after realizing she could easily take advantage of him cause he was basically head over heels for her, she started to abuse that. Shit started getting really intense too. Then when he confronted her about it, she got ten times worse. Even forced him to go down on her. Prove himself as a man." Dave said with a frown. "It didn't stop there though. She even went as far as to cheat on him with Eridan. Then she bragged about it. So he's...kinda torn up about it."

Dirk was silent. Dead silent. He couldn't believe what he had just heard.

John was in the bathroom, washing his face. It was a habit of his when he was uncomfortable, he would always take a bath or wash his hands or face, anything to make himself feel better. His hands were shaking a little.

"I know what you want to do. But don't." Dave warned. "If you pity him about it, it just reminds him of what happened. If you really want to comfort him, make him forget it ever happened."

Dirk listened intently and nodded. That was definitely a plan he had in mind.

John came back out a minute later. "Black cauldron's next right?" he asked, putting on a smile.

Dave hummed in confirmation as he got up to change the DVD.

Dirk looked over at John, trying to keep the sympathy out of his expression, giving him a tiny smile.

Dirk shrugged. "I guess I'm used to them more since he talked to me as Cal with those voices when I was younger. You didn't like them as much, so he didn't do it much for you, Dave."
