Karkat entered Dave's room since the door was left ajar, finding that Dave was nowhere to be found. Without having to worry about Dave in the room, he grabbed his clothes in the bag from Walmart off the top of the dresser and changed into a pair of panties with a simple red t-shirt. He started digging through Dave's closet in search for a skirt, hoping he could find something that was at least appropriate attire in public.

Karkat returned from Dave's room once he had found a pair of black leggings, rubbing his legs in the hallway at the strange texture the material had on his skin. "This feels weird."
