Re: (Dad/Dave)
Dave streched as he stood back up. "I can grab a hoodie real quick. I'll be back in a minute." Dave playfully winked at him before leaving the kitchen to go back upstairs.
Re: (Dad/Dave)
Robert simply chuckled as he waited in the hall by the door. "Tomorrow I can help you unpack" he called
Re: (Dad/Dave)
Dave was back down a minute later wearing a plain red hoodie. He shook his head as he approached Robert. "I can do it. Don't have much anyway. Beside, don't want ya to throw your back out."
Re: (Dad/Dave)
"I'm not that old" Robert replied with a snort. "Certainly stronger than you as well, Dave"
Re: (Dad/Dave)
Robert simply strode over to him and lifted him, tossing him over one shoulder and carrying him outside.
Re: (Dad/Dave)
Dave squaked and huffed, but didn't struggle or fight as he was picked up and carried. Maybe the older man would grab his ass. Probably not though. Robert was too much of a gentleman (ie a prude) to even think about that.
Re: (Dad/Dave)
Robert hummed as he carried Dave out to the car, opening the door with his other hand on Dave's lower back. He put both hands on Dave's ass, cupping it as he leaned forward, keeping Dave on his shoulder as he leaned into the car before lowering Dave into the seat and sliding his hands out from under him. He continued on as if nothing had happened, buckling Dave in and ruffling his hair before closing the door and moving around over to the drivers side.
Re: (Dad/Dave)
Dave opened his mouth then closed it. He repated the motion several times, not saying anything. What the fuck just happened. If it had been anyone else he would think they had just copped a feel. But this was Robert "hands above the waist and twelve inches apart" Egbert. He didn't cop feels or grope. Especially not his only son's best friend. God his grip was nice though. Fuck nice, it was great. Maybe Dave could get him to do it again.
Re: (Dad/Dave)
"Cat got your tongue David?" Robert smiled "Or did I cross a line by buckling you in?"
Re: (Dad/Dave)
Dave smirked, trying to hide the fact he was slightly embarassed. "Throat's just dry. Air's kinda dry here." Bull fucking shit. He knew it. He knew Rob knew it too. He didn't have to show that the older man knew though.
Re: (Dad/Dave)
"In Washington. Where we have more rainy days per year then we do sunshine. As compared to Texas. Where you can fry an egg on the sidewalk in the summer, on the cooler days." Robert replied with a raised brow.
Re: (Dad/Dave)
"I know you're a more creative liar than that, David" Robert replied, starting the car and turning his attention to the mirrors as he started to back out of the driveway.
Re: (Dad/Dave)
Dave huffed and tried to act like he was offended. "Me? A liar? That hurts my feelings daddy."
Re: (Dad/Dave)
"Daddy?" Robert asked, raising a brow but not looking to Dave. "John never called me that."
Re: (Dad/Dave)
"I'm positive you don't even know the correct definition of irony, and neither does your brother" Robert chuckled, pulling out onto the street and driving away.
