"Alright." Dave groaned when he looked at the tv. He should've paid more attention to what he grabbed. "I hate this movie."

"Alright." Dave got back out of his lap. He was actually paying attention as he scanned the movie shelves this time. Jeez, John really needed more movies. He grabbed The One then took it to the dvd player.

"Martial arts movie?" Robert asked, catching sight of the case.

Dave was putting the dvd in as he nodded. He put the case down before shuffling back to Robert. "It's our favorite movie." He got back into the man's lap.

"Me and John." Dave rested his head on Robert's shoulder. He hadn't spoken to the younger Egbert for awhile now. It seemed like John was always busy with class or homework. Dave sighed, pouting slightly. His classes didn't start until next week. He didn't have much to do til then.

Dave kissed his cheek before laying his head back down. "I tried calling Bro. To tell him I got here okay. he didn't answer and hasn't called back.

"He won't answer." Dave was trying to hide how upset he was. If Bro wanted to talk to him he would've called back or texted already. The older Strider had made it very clear he was happy Dave was leaving.

Dave didn't respond, turning his attention to the tv. The movie had just started anyway. Mostly he didn't want to talk about his relationship with Bro anymore.
