Dave smiled and playfully punched Tavros's arm. "You catch on quick. Come on, let's go see what we can do."

Jeff was pulling things out of the cabinets. Lil Cal was already sitting at the table and it was already set. "We're having chicken nuggets and fries. Deal with it."

"Uh, yeah, its over on your computer" Tavros smiled.

The older Strider whistled and pointed to his computer table. "Fetch slave." Dave rolled his eyes (even though no one could see) and went over to get the note.

"You could just say grab that for me."

"Yeah, but this is more fun."

Jeff snatched the note from Dave when the other approached. "Now put the condiments and other necessary accessories on the table." Dave was grumbling as he went to the fridge. "Speak English, not that damn mumbo jumbo. As for you," he pointed at Tavros. "Get your cute little butt over here."

Jeff was grinning like a maniac. When Tavros was close enough he swooped down and kissed the bridge of the younger male's nose. He was cackling a bit as he opened the oven to check on the nuggets and fries. "Just need you to keep me company. Tell me more about yourself."

"Nerds are always cute," Jeff turned around when the stove timer went off. He pulled the food out and placed them on top to cool off.

"Surgery can't make someone as cute as you." He moved to a cabinet to get two larger plates from. He put the chicken nuggets on one and the fries on the other. "Don't be modest. Good looking people like us only happen every so often. Be proud of your insanely good looks."

Dave was trying to keep his temper in check. "Jeff, stop it. Ignore him Tav."

"Loose the attitude, brat." Jeff placed the plates on the table and sat down. "Some people know how to flirt and like to."

"Shut up," Dave snarled. "I can flirt. I choose not to. There's no one I like, that's all."

Jeff smirked as he filled his plate. "Not even the Egbert kid?"

"FUCK YOU." The younger Strider left the room in a huff and slammed his door shut.

Jeff only shrugged as he poured mustard on his plate. "Not my problem." He put the bottle down and grabbed the ketchup. "Dave knew John before Karkat did. He should have given at least some sign or hint. I love the kid, but I can only deal with so much moping." He set the ketchup down when he was finished with it and frowned. "He'll find someone else."

Tavros carefully wheeled back to turn around and rolled himself right out of the kitchen. He rolled over to Dave's door and knocked. "Dave?" he asked
