Dirk glanced over at them then had to look again. "Hey, speaking of, he looks really pale, is he getting sick?" he frowned

Jake looked over to Karkat, then frowned. "We need to get him inside."

Dirk let go of Jake's hand and strode forward with purpose. "Dave, put Achilles in the house and take Bec home" he stated. "Should we take him to Kankri?" he asked Jake, kneeling next to Karkat, who was now covering his face and looking almost a sickly pale.

Dirk lifted him up. "We need to get the hoodie off him. Maybe give him a cool bath if its the heat"

Jake shook his head. "No. Putting him in cold water will send him into shock. He needs a cool clothe on his head and some cool water to drink." He held his arms out. "I'll take him."

Dirk passed Karkat over, for as small as he was, he was still heavy. "Should we still take his hoodie off?"

Dave had picked up Achilles and was walking him to the house. Bec was panting as he followed.

Jake grunted as he shifted Karkat in his arms. "Lead the way."

Dirk quickly moved ahead of them, opening the front door and standing to the side so everyone could get in.

Dave was still be followed by Bec as he carried the puppy inside. Jake looked around when he stepped in. "Living room?"

"Right through there" Dirk pointed at the doorway immediately inside. "Couch has a pull out if you need it"

Achilles laid his head on Dave's shoulder.

Dave started towards the kitchen. "I'm putting him in his new home. The trash can."

Jake grinned as he made his way towards the living room. "Space Jam it. Slam dunk him."

Bec was silent as he sniffed around the room.

"You do it and you can give him a bath and clean up the trash" Dirk stated, closing the front door and moving to Jake's side.

Karkat seemed to be unconscious in his arms.

Achilles gave a soft whine in Dave's ear.

Dave looked down at Achilles. "I'm hungry. Are you hungry?"

Jake hummed as he took Karkat's hoodie off.

Achilles woofed loudly and started squirming.

"Holy fucking shit" Dirk breathed, his glasses sliding down his nose to show his widened eyes.

Under Karkat's hoodie he was only wearing a thin tank top, his arms and the little bit of his chest they could see marked with thick scars.

Jake placed Karkat on the couch, laying him on his back. "I need a cool rag for his forehead."

Dave put Achilles down on the floor of the kitchen. "We've having peanut butter sandwiches."

Bec had followed them into the kitchen. He was sniffing at Achilles again.
