It was 10:30 when Jake got Dave back to the apartment. The younger Strider was fidgeting slightly in the passenger seat. Jake had been nothing but kind to him all night. Hopefully that wouldn't change now.

"I'll walk you up to your apartment" Jake smiled. He got out and walked around to gently lift Dave out. "Would you like me to carry your left overs?" he offered

"This is terribly forward of me, us having only been on one date and all..." Jake bit his lip "May I kiss you goodnight?"

Dave had not been expecting that. He thought Jake was going to want sex. Even just oral or a hand job. But no, he just wanted a kiss. This was completely new for Dave. "Oh. Alright."

Jake stopped in front of Dave's door and faced him. He handed him the bag of food and gently tilted his face up. He bit his lip nervously again before slowly leaning down and pressing his lips to Dave's, his eyes closing.

It was just a chaste little kiss, but it was filled with want, affection and utter devotion.

The kiss only lasted a minute, and Jake pulled away slightly, before pressing back in a second time, the second kiss even more gentle than the first. When he did pull away, he smiled at Dave. "May I take you out again tomorrow after school?"

Dave was in complete shock. He had been expecting it to be more harsh. Or have more tongue involved. But no, it was tender and sweet. The second kiss was shorter but just as sweet. He could only nod at Jake's question.

Jake grinned. "I'll pick you up here at five" he stated before leaning in to press one last little kiss to Dave's nose. He released him and started away, waving to Dave until he was out of sight.

Dave weakly waved back until Jake was gone. He was quiet when finally went inside the apartment. Jeff was on the couch with John. He grinned at his youngest brother when he entered. "Hey short stuff. How'd it go?"

"Great." Dave's voice cracked. "He was so sweet to me." He sniffled and shook slightly. "No one has ever been that nice to me."

"Jake. We went on a date."

Jeff raised a brow at Dave. "He didn't do anything, did?" Dave shook his head. "He was really sweet." Tears were rolling down his cheeks now. "Kissed me goodnight. It was sweet. More than I deserve."

"C'mere Dave." Jeff patted the couch spot next to him. Dave shuffled over to the other two. He placed the leftovers on the coffee table before sitting with them.

John shifted to cover himself better with the shirt of Jeff's that he was wearing since it was the only thing he was wearing. "What did the two of you do?" he asked

Dave was sniffling the whole time as he told them about the date. Jeff wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "That sounds great. What's wrong?"

Dave let out a little sob, curling to his brother's side. "I...I don't know. It's just....no one has ever been that nice to be. Not without wanting something from me. I...I don't know how to handle this."

"Jake never wants anything from anyone" John stated softly. "He takes care of himself, and he gets Jade anything she wants too. He would never use you. He would probably get you stuff too if you wanted. But if he makes you uncomfortable, you can stop hanging out with him"

A loud moan came through the wall.
