Karkat climbed off the bike before the engine was shut off as they entered a parking space, the tiny troll fumbling to get his helmet off with one hand while the other held the bag of mouth guards.

Karkat nearly jumped out of his skin when they suddenly appeared in front of Bro's apartment, half expecting Bro to drag out the tension further by walking the whole way. "Fucking- shit- give me some warning before you go and do that," he growled, fixing his skirt after it flipped up during the flash.
