Dave started to climb out of bed and search for his shoes. "Could you come outside with me for a bit?"

Dave stopped once they were standing in the middle of the parking lot and had a clear view of the entrance. He folded his arms across his chest and shivered in the night air. "Hope they're closer than five minutes away. Fucking freezing out here."
