"So, so greedy," Dave murmured in agreement, giving Bro a nervous peck on the cheek. "Whelp." He slid his arms back off Bro and began to climb out of his lap. "I'm getting out of this love buffet before I take a bite out of some prime, forbidden fruit."

Dave didn't fall asleep, partly because he was too wound up and partly because he didn't need more sleep. He just relaxed under the covers, listening to the movie.
