Date Night

Jeff growled as he honked his horn the third time. The intersection was clear, yet the driver in front of him wasn't going anyhere.

"COME ON KNUCKLEHEAD. SOME OF US HAVE PLACES TO BE TODAY."

Dave slumped in the passenger seat, like he was trying to not be seen.

"Totally unironic Bro. And lame."

He yelped as the older Strider smacked the side of his head.

"Watch you mouth kid. You're talking to the guy who taught you the definition of cool."

The younger huffed and slumped lower into his seat. He pulled out his phone and started texting someone. "I'm telling John we'll be there soon."

Jeff flipped off the car in front of him as he sped through the intersection. "And you two can leave immediately."

"Can't wait to get John's dad into bed?" Another yelp and smack.

"Be glad I brought you at all. And that I gave you thirty bucks. Take John to see that new Ghost Rider movie."

Dave groaned as he slammed his phone shut. "But then he'll want to actually watch the movie."

Jeff chuckled as he pulled into the Egbert's drive way.

John ran out the door immediately, grinning in excitement. "Oh god, Dave, You have to come see this!" he laughed joyfully, stopping at the end of the driveway and bouncing in place a little. "Man you have to see what Dad made us for dinner!"

Robert himself waited patiently in the kitchen, putting the final touches on dinner. There wasn't any hurry in sending the boys to the movies just yet, he and Jeff would have plenty of together alone time. So he had fixed dinner. He had made personal sized meatloaves for everyone, each in a different shape. His own was shaped like a fedora, John's was shaped like an xbox controller, Dave's was shaped like a bird (he had aimed for a crow but it was all interpretation at this point), and Jeff's was shaped like a smuppet.

Dave didn't bother to grab his duffle bag. He got out of the car as quickly as he could and grabbed John's arm. He started pulling toward the Egbert house, mumbling about road rage and older brothers being dicks.

Jeff grabbed both their bags before locking the car doors and heading up the driveway. Whatever Robert made, it definitely wasn't cake. John wouldn't be nearly as excited as he had been if it was cake. Rob wouldn't serve dessert for dinner anyway.

Dave and John were heading upstairs when he got inside. Damn brats clearly weren't leaving anytime soon. Damn little shut ins.

John laughed loudly. "Come on Dave, Dinner's all ready for us! We can go to my room after dinner"

Robert stuck his head out of the kitchen. "Ah, you're here" he smiled to Jeff. "Good. I have a surprise for you"

Jeff nodded and went into the kitchen. He noticed the meatloafs on the table. The smuppet shaped one at his spot almost mad him blush. Almost being the keyword. Blushing is so unironic and uncool (plus Rob would never let him hear the end of it).

"How cute Robbie. You're like a little domesticated housewife."

"And you're like a little greedy whore." Robert chuckled. "I assume you'll be making the boys leave right after dinner?" He asked, turning and pulling Jeff to his chest gently with a slight smirk around his pipe. "This is our Date night after all, isn't it?"

"They need to get out more."

He grabbed the collar of Rob's shirt with one hand and took his pipe with the other. He kissed the older male, then starting trailing kisses down his throat.

"It's been a week Robert. The boys can handle being away from home for one night. As soon as they leaving we're going to your room. And we're not coming back out until the headboards broken or one of us can't move. Whichever happens first."

"I can make both of those things a reality" Robert hummed softly. "But don't you have to work tomorrow night? I wouldn't want you to have to stand at your tables all night with a sore and bruised ass."

"Completely worth it," Jeff purred. He laid his head on the older Egbert's chest. He gave a little nuzzled and inhaled. He wrapped his arm around Rob's waist and let his hand drift downwards.

"Who says I need to work? Sick days exist for a reason. I might need to stay here for you to take care of me Daddy."

Robert chuckled. "If you're sick, Lil Cal doesn't get to watch." he murmured, catching Jeff's hand before it drifted down too far.

Jeff ignored Rob's attempt to stop his hand. He nuzzled the older male and purred again.

"But then he'll lonely. Do you want me to think about poor Lil Cal, all by his lonesome, while you're trying to fuck me senseless?"

"But do you really want lil'Cal watching me take advantage of his poor sick friend? What kind of Daddy would I be then?" Robert chuckled in Jeff's ear. "And maybe if you behave, I'll let him join in for once"

Jeff was about to respond, but was cut off by the sound of a huff. Dave quickly turned on his heel and was heading away from the kitchen.

"John," he hissed. "They've already started it up. And in the kitchen."

Robert chuckled and let Jeff go, moving back away from him. "Its safe to come in boys, We weren't doing anything I promise."

John laughed, pulling Dave back in with him. "I'm too hungry to care, the sooner we eat the sooner we can leave"

Jeff resisted the urge to stop his foot. Another very uncool, unironic thing to do (plus another thing Rob would never let go). He huffed as he took his place at the table. Dave was just nodding his head as John babbled on about how excited he was for the movie.

"So what do you think of my dinner concoctions?" Robert chuckled.

Dave nodded as he shoved a forkful into his mouth.

"Ironic. I like it."

Jeff snickered and flicked a piece of meatloaf at the younger Strider. "Stop stealing my lines, kid."

"Neither of you even know what Irony is" John laughed. "You're both weird."

"That isn't very nice, John" Robert scolded. "They're 'special' not weird"

Jeff was going to make a remark about putting John on the special short bus everyday, but decided that was going to far. The kid was just annoying at most. Plus Robert would probably completely ignore him tonight if he said that.

"And you scold me for my language. If I'm special, then what does that make you? Since you're fucking me and everything. Does that make you a special fucker?"

Dave snickered as he continued to eat.

"Something like that." Robert chuckled. "But you should really watch your language if you want your dessert."

John made a face. "Ew"

Jeff stuck out his tongue.

"Like you'd do anything. You like my ass too much." He started to lick his fork and smirked.

"I can do this to you ya know. We can skip dinner and go straight to dessert."

Dave slammed his fork down. "Thanks. I threw up a bit in my mouth."

"Then go make out with John or something."

"If you keep that up, you'll get no dessert at all." Robert stated.

John blushed. "We don't do anything like that!" he protested.

Dave crossed his arm over his chest. "I'm done now."

"Don't be an ungreatfull shit and eat your food."

"I can put it in a container and save it for later if he isn't hungry" Robert stated. "Unless he rather I just throw it out"

Dave shrugged, arms still crossed. "I really don't want to throw it away. Something to put it in is cool with me."

Jeff stared at his plate as he continued to eat. Why couldn't Dave and John just leave already. According to the younger Strider, John never shut up about Nic Cage and how he was so excited to see the new Ghost Rider. Tonight Jeff wanted Rob all to himself.

"I'm done too."
